More Disney Songs you Say?
Yes! Yes I do good sir!
Then let them play old boy!Right
..onwards! The title is a little cliché I know, but never mind! This is a big thing for me! Double figured thousands now! Its a fantastic start to say the least, so thank you to everyone thats come and had a peep at all of my stuff, which, id like to add, its slowly but surely getting better with each production.
This link probably wont work but never mind.
<img src="http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m214/phoenix1_01/10000copy.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket">If it doesnt, can someone please tell me how it does? Haha! Right, onto business. I think its about time I made more of an effort to make some more friends on this place. I mean, not in the sense of adding random deviants to my list and saying hey want to be friends? I just think that, seeing as Ive been here for quite some time, I should probably make more of an effort for the social side. Right so I might as well give a small update on my life right now, seeing as its my journal after all. Ok so Im nearly finished with my foundation level course at Farnham, and I cant say Im happier that its over. Honestly, after moving from a highly creative, highly competitive and challenging graphic design course at A-level, to drawing with sticks dipped in ink, sitting under tables and drawing with our eyes closed, it kinda puts a dampener on ones spirits.
To this end, Im kinda stuck on what to do next. Ive been to a lot of universities and checked them out, but none have been any good to me personally, I think I just
(honestly) learned too much too fast at my old college. I taught Photoshop the year before and now Im stuck at the basics again, moving at something on a snails pace.

isnt learning fun? * explodes in the corner * Well
maybe not that far but you get the idea. Being the
only digital artist in the whole college is kinda weird. Its quite lonely too. I havent had a proper teacher for it at all, and what I do get, I take from imagine FX most of the time haha! Id just like to ask, has anyone else been in this situation? Because Im really, really scared about leaving full time education and I genuinely dont want to waste thousands upon thousands of pounds on an education thats pretty terrible, what did you do? Did you just not go into further education? Does the degree paper really make that much difference if you have the talent to back it up? Its logical, but I still dont want to go into full time employment because Im worried I wont make anything of myself that way. Its lovely how much pressure is being shoved on kids these days isnt it?
Im going to at least try to send some pieces of work off to some companies to see if theyre interested in any way shape or form. Pretty nerve racking stuff Ill admit. I mean, I would really love to do something In the media, computer game industry or something, but thats asking quite a lot for a company to offer an 18 year old a chance like that straight off. Well I think thats-a-long enough for now.
But yeah, Id love to chat to anyone that has any thoughts, ideas or just wants to chat!
Peace out!
I haven't spoken to you in the longest of times. How the devil are you?
